My Version:

Before I start finding solutions for the problem faced by these verified users I will start with some Questions & Answers:

1.Do the normal users really understand the capacity of components that are built in their device?

I would tell big NO because these components are read by engineers who can to an extent understands about their performance.

2.Did you buy this phone because of the Brand, Cost or because of its specifications?

Most people go with brand because there is a reason why brand is familiar in the market, but still there is scope of technical issues.

Some would go with the cost of these smartphones because when cost of phone is high possibility of having good features and better user experience which is expected by the people.

Finally some would do thorough research before buying phones and then decide based on the specifications, this would be help them to prepare themselves with “how to use” when they have it for themselves.

3.Is that any smartphone which has highly priced and branded to perform better?

Answer would be Yes for most of the users and also No for some of the users because if the user anticipate to perform better based on its previous models then there is an possibility that the company would have improved the specifications for storage or display and other features may remain same in the model which is presently sold in the market.

This would be a major drawback for the user who decides to buy the phone based on its earlier models performance without knowing its specifications and what can be expected from them.

4.How a smartphone is used by generally?

First reason to make and receive calls

Second reason using messaging applications (Example: Whatsapp & Viber)

The third reason would be internet, checking emails, booking cabs, ordering food and other services.

5.What are other common expectations?

Better battery backup, good display, camera and followed with its RAM and its storage capacity.

These smart phones are built with industry standards which mean that end users should and will get all the benefits that should improve user experience (user friendly interface) hence they are packed with chips and electronic components that can perform better and support applications which should be verified and downloaded. That can help their users in their day to day life, hence the end user is not aware of its components and chips with its capacities.

Considering the point that its performance may vary under different demographics and using style so users would have faced issues.

If I am able to think and work on possible solutions, even a top brand like HTC  which was founded in 1997 (Taiwan based), also which entered the tablet market with Google Nexus 9 in 2014 definitely understands the issues so would be already working to fix these issues and improve user experience.

There is always further scope for improvements to make it user friendly because the more simple it to understand it would increase satisfaction of the end user.

Now trying to find the solutions for those who rated single star for this phone:

Phone heating issue

Phone gets warm sometimes when it is charging and talking for longer time, GPS Navigation, internet or other similar activities.

Even you are feeling uncomfortable with heating issue of mobile phone you can contact hTC customer service.

Battery draining

Draining of battery could be direct result of applications that are installed on your smartphone, if you have not optimized the battery settings which result in consuming more battery and increasing charging cycles of your phone.

Go into settings > Device > Battery and you could see what is consuming HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM’s battery, so there if you tap each of the app you can adjust the settings to improve battery performance.

Android OS has a feature known as Battery Stats, which keeps track of its capacity when it is full or blank.
